I saw an idea for this picture on Pinterest yesterday and had to use it. It's supposed to be a yearly milestone marker, but because Jaxon changes so much daily I think I'll do it every month for awhile. Today he is making new sounds I haven't heard before and really trying to talk! Last night I swear I heard him say "All done" after dinner. Happy 17 months, buddy. I love you so!
This is the Grammy speaking...and I can attest to the fact that Jaxon has stolen the hearts of each person with whom he comes in contact - especially Pa-pa and I. His obsession with Pa-pa's garage and "Ow-side" when he's at our house...his adoration of all the family dogs...and the little giggle he gives when he's tired and sees his crib just tug at my heart. It's as if he takes my heart in his little hands and squeezes when he gives me lovin' hugs. A good friend who became a grammy first, upon finding out I was to become part of that exclusive club told me, "Oh, Colette - hold on to your heart!" She wasn't kidding. Love you Jaxon David!
