My How They Grow

Jaxon is almost 17 months old. Seriously? I know it's so cliche but time flies when you're a mom. Lately I've been reflecting back on when he was only a few months old. He was this tiny little man who stole my heart and changed my life forever. With everyday that passes I find that he learns something new and changes in so many ways. He tells me new stories via babbling and I eat up every "word". The other day I taught him how to blow kisses. That might be the cutest thing yet. Or wait - he has this laugh that I want to capture in a bottle and store forever. Sometimes he comes up to me randomly and gives me a hug. Ahhh...those things melt me. He's definitely an individual little guy who knows what he likes and what he doesn't.

I started this blog because of inspiration from my friends who have them. I decided I need one for a place to document the things that I want to remember when Jaxon is older and off to college continuing his journey in becoming whatever he wants to be. The picture above marks his discovery of crayons. We tried teaching him how they work but he prefers to pick them up one-by-one and throw them. Hey - it's a start, right?
